A piece of Royal history: Elizabeth Emanuel's collage of off-cuts from Princess Diana's wedding gown set to fetch up to £10,000 at auction

The Sarah Burton of her day, Elizabeth Emanuel created the wedding dress worn by the late Princess of Wales on her wedding day to Prince Charles in 1981.
And now a collage of off-cuts from Princess Diana's wedding gown is up for auction.
The collage contains five fabric off-cuts from the gown and one from one of the bridesmaid’s sashes.

Elizabeth Emanuel gave the fabric off-cuts to the family who cared for her children during the two weeks prior to the Royal Wedding as a token of her appreciation.

'This is a unique memento of Charles & Diana’s wedding which was watched on TV by an estimated 750m people worldwide.

'This collage is the perfect opportunity for collectors to own such a personal item from the wedding of the People’s Princess' said Kylie Whitehead, PFC Auctions Spokesperson.
It isn't the first time that a piece of the historical Royal wedding have been up for auction.
In may, a scrapbook of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s Royal Wedding made by Elizabeth Emanuel sold for £3,194 at PFC Auctions.
