She will perhaps be best remembered for playing Mayor Shinn's daughter Zaneeta in the 1962 movie musical Music Man opposite soprano Shirley Jones and the charismatic Robert Preston.
Susan passed away on November 29 at her home in Los Angeles.

She had not been diagnosed with any
long-term illness, but passed away from 'just old age,' her daughter
Shayna Reynolds told TMZ.She didn't want any fuss made with a funeral, and was cremated and her ashes kept in 'a decorative box,' along the remains of other family members who had passed away before her.
Susan will continue to live on in her film roles.

She also starred with Jones in the 1956 musical Carousal, playing the daughter of Gordon McRae's character Billy Bigelow.
Born in Hollywood in 1938, Susan had many roles on Broadway in the 1950s as well, performing on stage in the musicals Peter Pan and Take Me Along.

singer-actress appeared in the 1957 TV movie Annie Get Your Gun and the
variety series The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show.Susan was married to actor Larry Douglas in 1964 until he passed away in 1996.
